Under höstens andra CIO Connect utforskade vi tillsammans med Sofia Sirvell, Group CDO Sandvik, Giselher Klauk, Move Area Lead for Sustainable IT på Sandvik och tio av Sveriges ledande CIO:er strategier för att leda organisationer mot grönare praxis. En gemensam insikt är att kommunikation och tydlighet måste vara en självklar grundpelare att stå på för att kunna samarbeta kring hållbar IT, inte bara i organisationen, utan även utanför. Utöver detta landade vi i ett flertal viktiga insikter för att främja en positiv utveckling av hållbarhetsarbetet: Baseline Det är viktigt att börja med att skapa en tydlig baseline(förståelse för var företaget står idag) för att sedan kunna styra hållbarhetsarbetet i rätt riktning. Eva Listi, former Chief Information Officer at Systembolaget, has long been passionate about sustainability, which has been a key focus for Systembolaget. When the company needed to switch to a new IT solution for their cash register systems, it was obvious that sustainability should be integrated into the requirements specification. The piles of discarded receipts found in the trash cans of stores all over Sweden bothered Eva, and when it was time to update the stores' IT systems, she decided that sustainability should be a central theme throughout the project. "We noticed that more and more customers didn't want receipts, and we thought that there must be a better way to solve this," says Eva.
